RIP Art Clokey :(

a sad loss to a man who created one of the most beloved characters in the history of animation any animation gumby was one of a kind a hero with a heart who made kids fall in love with reading cause you never knew where gumby, pokey, goo, and pricky would end at next or what evil plot the blockheads would cook up goodbye art and goodbye gumby so as tara sang in his final adventure take us away one last time and keep going this way and that in heaven.
 
A while back, I DVR'd a documentary about him called "Gumby Dharma" I think from IFC. I almost deleted it but decided to watch it one day while doing other things and found myself stopping those other things to really watch it. It was rather fascinating and revealed things I never had a clue about the man or Gumby. It's worth watching if you get the chance.
