as i was getting ready for a shower, i realized, on my stomach, a round and faintly red ring. it was in an oval shape and somewhat hard to see.
The only thing is when i went to research it, the symptoms for Ringworm were as follows:
-Uplifted red ring
-burning or itching
-blistering
-scaly and dry.

None of these symptoms applied to my case.
any ideas?

If you have no other symptoms it may just be a mark (from something you leaned against, slept on, etc). See if it goes away in a few days. You weren't bitten by a tic were you??

My tinea versicolor (who wants to call it "ringworm"?:p;)) was a cluster of flat pink/tan circles - no other symptoms other than they tended to turn white in the summer - I tried several things that didn't work then I bought Nizoral dandruff shampoo, applied a bit with a q-tip 10 to 15 min before I took a shower and the spots were gone in two days. Since skin yeast infections tend to reoccur, occasionally I use Nizoral like a bodywash just to avoid any future trouble.
