Ringer & Vibrate Modes

Hello, this is my first post on this forum and I have a feeling many more will come. I am currently messing around with my ringer & vibrate modes. I am trying to make is so that Ringer On makes the phone vibrate when someone calls, texts, etc. me and Ringer Silent does not give me any notifications at all, in other words, silent mode. Is this possible? Thanks for the help
 
Yes. Silent mode by default turns off vibrations. Vibrate mode is silent mode but with vibration on.

To turn on vibrate you need to go into each of the apps associated to the behavior and turn it on. So open the "messaging" app and go to the settings -- and turn on vibrate. Ringer is in the system settings. Email is in the email settings. Etc.
 
Awesome, I'm loving this. One more question. Is there any way to make the phone not make any sounds and just vibrate when I have the Ringer On mode selected? I tried turning the volume all the way down but it defaults back to a sliver.
