...$4/gal today, buying a Hummer in 2003 proved to be as dumb an idea as supporting bush's war. The mindless flagwaving and chest-thumping, encouraged by the Fox Noise Channel, doesn't put food on the table, they are learning.

As they attempt to sell their Hummers before their homes get foreclosed upon, but find that they can't get a decent trade-in value because of such low demand for it, who are they going to blame? The people who bought Toyota Prius hybrids?
 
Who are they going to blame? I'm sorry, I must not have noticed: Did Bill Clinton go away? Hillary? Ted Kennedy? The Democratic leaders of Congress? The "liberal" media? Despite all the difficulties those people and institutions have gone through lately (and it's been plenty), they're still here, so the wingnuts are going to continue to blame them. Hell, some of them are still blaming George McGovern and Jimmy Carter! I guess LBJ got off lucky, dying when he did. (Wouldn't mind going to a seance, though, to find out what he thinks about this stuff!)
