hey guys, heres the go i have a 1200 watt pioneer sub, might get a second one soon. i have 2 amps a 500 watt planet audio one 4x30 watts at 12 volts and a sony amp not sure on the output as i got it off a mate and it has no details but it is expensive and 4 channel i know that much. so the question is will one or another of the amps actually power 1 or 2 subs and what one is the preferred amp to use?
the sony amp is 600 watts max or rated at 4x60 watt at 4 ohms. i really dont know much about amps, but how much watts is needed and how would you get the full 600 watts power out if its only 4x60 for speakers.
