well you might of noticed you have been without my shining glory lately and the reason is I finally couldn't keep the cable modem on. Just not the money for it anymore. So I had to drop the service and now I finally bit the bullet out of boredom and signed up for the dreaded dial-up service again...

but they told me it would cost the same thru the phone company to get DSL as it does dialup. Strange to me but whatever. The reason I didn't get the DSL was because they wanted a $100 deposit to get it running. Apparently because like several months ago my phone service was cut for approx 2 hours due to an unpaid bill(thanks wife!) it now requires I give this deposit. Maybe next month... Until then I shall suffer at the whailing evil of the modem connection noise and 56kbps of doom.
