Riding feels like no time has passed.

I have been riding for only a couple of months now and I was wondering if this happens to you. After riding any distance, it is as if I just started riding, time seems to stand still. I took the car yesterday and it felt like it took forever to get anywhere, when I take the same route (on my bike), the ride is not long enough. I have never felt this way before and find myself looking forward to the next ride. :)

I just want to see if this is common to people who ride and will last or if it is some kind of riding phase I am going through.

Thanks for you thought and safe riding,
BlueMax

Roads ridden, that would never be driven.

It means the same today as it did 16 years ago.
Only the grin has gotten bigger. (Along with the belly)

I had an accident 39 years ago, and just recently started riding again. The thrill is the same, I am just more defensive in my riding (I am now 65 years old and I hope much wiser, I was fairly wild back then). I look for every chance to get on the bike now. Enjoy and wear the proper equipment and watch those crazy 4 wheelers!!

A lot of times when I am driving the cage, I am mulling over the day ahead or the problems left at work, I get bored and anoyed with traffic. When I am riding, I am focused on the road, traffic, route, etc. All the days problems are put away and I just focus on the ride, that is why riding is so theraputic for me.

That pretty-much sums it up for me, too.
I get to the office in the morning and get home from the office in the afternoon soooo much happier when I commute on the c50 rather than the truck.

A motorcycle is a hell of a lot cheaper than a psychiatrist, too. :D
