Riddle of the seven poisonous lakes - can't solve it for the life of me?

so there is an island
it has 7 lakes
numbered 1 to 7
each lake is posionous
but the thing is the higher the number the more posisonous it gets
like 3 is more poisonous than 2

got it so far?

but if u r poisoned by say any lake
if u drink water from a higher number lake
it will be a cure
(like if i drink from one, the only way to cure me is to drink from two)


so now there is a dual
between a prince n a jin (genie)
they all can give each other a glass of water
the objective is
to kill the other with that glass of water

keeping in mind
that the prince can only go upto lake number 6
but genie can go to any lake
so how will the prince kill the genie??
apparently the fact that this thing takes place on an island is CRUCIAL
 
He tekes water from the 7th lake because if you have to drink water from a higher lake to be cured and there are only 7 lakes you cant go higher than the 7th lake so therfore he got a glass of water from the 7th lake...
