2) used for Centuries as a;
a) Food source
b) Clothing source
c) Energy (oil) source
d) Capture the Wind to move the Pilgrims to the new world
3) a medicine that has Never caused a Over Dose
4) was criminalized because the Rich couldn't make enough Profits from it (Truth, follow the Money trail if you D.A.R.E.)
Most western states now have legalized for medical use.
When Originally outlawed (Marihuana tax stamp act) #4 was Very Correct as the Money being spread by Lobbyist's came from Dow Chem. Upjohn Pharm. Timber Industry and Randolf Herse.

Now a days, Billions are being made on the incarsoration of the mellow pot smokers which fill our prisons. Leaving No Room for Car Thieves, Burglars, shop lifters, Meth Cooks and other Hard Drug Dealers, etc. . . .

It was outlawed because the governors of California, Arizona and New Mexico were mad that mexicans were getting stoned on the weekends in their states and driving all over the place causing wreck, took them 3 or 4 years to get the Feds to outlaw it. At the time all those governors were (wait for it)

I suppose by your definition, libertarians aren't on the right. I don't think that I should be restricted from having anything that can't hurt you, or doing anything that can't hurt you. You're wrong on #4, though. The rich could make a lot of money from drugs now illegal.
