Riddle - Can someone figure it out?

3 Friends went for a meal
Bill was £25
Each one paid £10 = £30
Waiter gave each £1 back
Tip was £2

= £29 total where is the other £1 gone??

Wrong there wasn't 1 gone it equals out.

from £30
the tip was £2
so thats £28

and he gave £1 each and there were 3 guys so thats £3

£28 - £3 = £25 which was the bill

There is no extra 1. You subtract the 2 from the 27 to get 25, not add to get 29.

Bill and tip was 27. Each paid 10 and got back 1 from the waiter so each paid 9.

9 x 3 = 27
