brillent film!!!I could not belive it was that good, I thought it would be a action film with not that good plot and flat but it's not like that it is bloody great. It has the style of the old star wars films and the brill Special effects and sets as lord of the rings, it is sad in some parts and the end is CRAZY.
has anyone seen it and think the same or think something different.

Sadly i think it will not do that great because the people that like that type of film will say "vin desel it will just be a crapy action flick, not seeing that" and people that like crapy action films will see it and it will go over their heaRAB and think its shit :(

yeah i liked COR

I love the Riddick character..... a Snake Pliskin type role.
The fact they took this film as a "pitch black sequal" but didnt regurgitate the same monsters/planet scenario, but chose to move things forward really kept me captivated.
I loved it..also having seen "Dark Fury" aswell, kinda worked in well.(especially with tombes)

Sadly there are people that (and it is their opinion) think diesel is nothing more than a bit part actor.....the fury thats going around in some circles in America because he is playing "hannibal" which is in post production? is crazy.......
i like him, i'd rather watch him than the rock/dwayne johnson

yep i agree guys its an amazing movie and lets hope the 3rd movie gets made now :D.

i disagree with the Rock comment tho as they are 2 kinda actors and i think the Rock will do very well for himself as will Vin in the future.

i could not see the Rock doing this role but then again i could not see Vin doing the Walking Tall or The Rundown (Aka Welcome To the Jungle).

its good to see 2 diff types of Male leaRAB (Action Heros)

Huh???? It was a crappy action film!! The plot was lame, the acting risible, and Vin Diesel was just awful. It wasn't as bad as "xxx" though.
Having said that I enjoyed watching it, but I couldn't bear to see it again.

I loved Pitch Black and was really looking forward to COR but was put off by the reviews. It seemed a fairly unanimous negative verdict and I know you shouldn't listen to others but not everyone can be wrong. This is the first positive view.

I do actually like Vin Diesel, he's far better than the Rock. Personally the Rock is a bit to cheesy, certainly wouldn't go to the cinema to see one of his films.

You liked the Scorpion KIng :o shame on you :D

Come to think of it I think its the only one i've seen, and checking IMDB most of his stuff refers to WWE.

i never really enjoyed this much. i found vin diesel really stale and the plot was more like star trek even the bad guys were like the borg.
i have enjoyed previous vin films but this was pretty poor. halfway through i started to think is riddick short for ridiculous?

So you admit youve sat down and watched it then ? :D
It was an easy pill to swallow, the cast were able to poke fun at the script and themselves throughout, it was way ahead of the offerings by than other WWE oRABhoots (Hogan ?)

I have to say that I really enjoyed Riddick. Some of the things in it were rather far fetched, but all in all I really enjoyed it. I think that it suffered somewhat in the editing. I'd be interested in what the director's cut looks like. Otherwise I personally am looking forward to the sequel...

I eventually got to see Riddick yesterday after wanting to see it for ages but nobody would go with me to see it as all my mates hated Pitch Black. I really enjoyed it apart from some very chessy lines and the CGI dogs on the prison planet!
Does anybody know if they are going to make the other two sequels that were planned?
