Rick Berman: Star Trek "Prequel" Film in the Works

I was reading an article at www.scifichat.net and apparently Rick Berman has been given the go ahead to do a new Trek movie.. and his hinted that it will be a prequel!
That is just wrong!
No more Enterprise.. neeRAB to be POST Voyager!

'star trek'without the federation and a full compliment of aliens is not needed.enterprise is set too far back to link effectively with TOS ,never mind TNG,RAB9 and voyager.

\\\gree,Enterprise is set to far far back for a prequel.also,wasnt Star Trek :First Contact a prequel of sorts? by watching that,didnt we see how the warp drive was made,by watching Enterprise,havnt we seen how and why the Federation was formed?
We DONT need to know anymore.If they want to keep us in the movies,give us a descent Star Trek movie (preferaby one without William Shatner) and i will be extremely happy!

I think we need a Trek Film, focused on Section 31 from RAB9.. now that would be cool!

RAB9 was cool IMO.i liked the fact there were lots of non-starfleet characters who didnt follow federation rules.section 31 -great idea.
