Rewatching films

I'm watching Don't Say A Word at the moment and enjoying it. It's weird that when I saw it at the cinema i didn't like it. :confused:

Does anyone ever find themselves liking a film they didn't like first time?
 
Yep i have seen films before that i didnt like and then watched a again years later and enjoyed


Like when i was 16 i watched Pulp fiction and i hated it then i watched it again this year after 8 years and thought the film was fantastic
 
The Harry Potter movies...

I watched them and for some reason - I couldn't follow them... for example - the third one.

But now I watched them with Subtitles on DVD and they are really good brilliant films!
 
Unfortunately it's mostly the other way around. A movie doesn't seem that good the second time you see it.

The cases where I found it better second time round was that I just got older or my tastes changed.
Remember seeing 2001 - A Space Odyssey when I was 16 and was bored stiff.
When saw it again about 10 years later I thought it was a masterpiece.

What also helps is that your p*ssed out of your mind. Thought Sister Act 2 was the funniest movie I ever saw after a few Cuba Libre's.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

First time I saw it I was like "What the.......?"

But after a few times of my sister making me watch it I now love it, it helps that Ive seen the stage show a few times otherwise I probably still wouldn't get it now....!
 
i agree with this one-i first saw it when i was about 7 and was terrified of frank n furter but now its one of my favourites

i hate it when you see a film that you LOVED years ago (and used to watch repeatedly)and then you are really disappointed by it
 
The Matrix is worth another look, I don't know anyone that doesn't at least find the concept interesting.

I'm not a big fan of watching films several times over, but will revisit a film that I watched when I was younger and didn't really like due to not understanding or 'getting' it.

for me blackhawkdown just gets better every time i see it must now be one of my fav films
