Revenge Of The Sith

It's not that, it's the fact that someone squealing nooooooo upon hearing of the death of a loved one is so horribly cliched, and was executed with such camp sensibility that Vader should have been waving a pink handbag at the time, wearing a feather boa.

How would you like it if you're best mate nearly killed you, chucked you into a lava stream, left you for dead.... then your father figure stick legs on you and a new arm, with no anesthetic mind you, dressed you up in a frankly over the top leather outfit, complete with cape!!! and then told you yer misses is dead, whilst secretly sniggering at your misfortune, when really you know it's all for his own betterment in the universe.

"Nooooooooooooooooooooooo"... exactly, well said. :D

Beleive it or not, all that I can just about cope with, but the "ohos" and the "check it out corporal", "roger roger" of the droiRAB along with the midichlorian stuff tipped me over the edge.

Might not be a popular held opinion but I also think Phantom Menace is the best (i'm not saying it's a great movie or anything because it's not), it's got all the faults of the others but to me it still seems to hold some of the charm of the originals, charm that's nowhere to be seen in Clones and Sith. It also has the duel light sabre battle with Maul, easily the best scene from any of the prequels.

I can't even sit through Clones or Sith now.

I hear what you are saying re: dual light sabre duels (phew got that right!), and agree 100% with you, but that JarJarBinks thing just ruined the whole movie for me :( if it hadn't have been it - think what a movie it would have been? :( (sadly shakes her head)

I like Harrison Ford's comment about the dialogue in the Empire of Dreams documentary. He said something along the lines of 'you can type this crap, but you can't say it.' :D

good film but I think overall with all three films Annikin went to the dark side far too quickly.

At one point he was just a bit confused so then he just killed all the Jedi's and turning to the dark side. I think they could have explored that more.

Also once he put on the suit and did that no we saw how much power he had with all the room shaking and metal bending but that never got explored further

Totally agree

I still get excited when I see the doors open and Darth Maul standing there

The 1st time I saw it, I remember the double edged lightsaber and just said 'f****** hell'

i agree on ep1 being better then ep2/3. 2 was shocking imo and 3 although good on first viewing is rather cheap and crass on repeated watches. ep1 does hold its own very well and is probably the most rounded story of the prequels.
