I was on a trip abroad just for work for approx 1 year. Before leaving I tried hard to secure job for my new migrant wife to make life easy for her a bit while I pay for the hhouse rent too. I left my laptop PC for her so we, including our only son can communicate but cheaply via the net/skype calls. I also asked to know her work schedule so I can make time to meet her online/call.
Suddenly she gave me all the excuses why she cant keep the schedule and commnication going, talking about PC problems. I then installed a remote program to fix the PC while I was still away. During those excuses that she claim PC didint work, I found the same PC worked for her to chat with friends and her familiy members on Facebook. She wouldnt plan anything with me, does things her own way until she needs help.
I have lately been planning to come down, she kept insisting I inform her in advance my exact date of arrival which I agreed but never kept it. .
To cut a long sory short, I got back from trip yesterday, and found her in another man's car drop her home. As a married woman,she wouldnt tell me who this man is until i inquired. even that she wouldnt openly explain herself well, saying that she expect my son might have told me whom this male friend was. I also inquired why she hasnt ever mentioned any of her male friends to me, she tried to give me answers upon answers and reasons and so on.
The day before I arrived I called her and she told me she was working the next day (she didnt know I was on my way), I found out she didnt have to go work but went out shopping out with this male friends they also didnt know I was in the car driving behind them.Her only answer was that she called him to give her a ride home after she was done.
I knew car was gonna be essential in this area, hence I opened a bank account in our name, told her that we need to save into this account for future, car, parents at home remittance.she agreed but never saved a single $ in, she used money for food and other clothings and opened her own account somewhere in a different bank.
This wife's suspicious behaviour is worrying, especially when similar obsevations happened in past years and spoke to her about it. Her defensive position, and her unapologetic approach makes me wonder if this is the true catholic marriage I saw whiles growing up or is it when she got to u.s here.
I might have to go abroad again in weeks, I am not sure anymore in this woman.I cant trust her any more. Especially as she continues to hid stuff from me, I am unable to rely on her any longer.
I dont see anything wrong making friends, but I think every male will show concern when on arrival from a trip a wife is with a male friend in car driving home and has never mentioned any of 3 male friends ever to husband in 24 months.She keeps many things away from me, the only time I see she sahre is when she feels she might need help in that line.
