Any fans of the return of the living dead movies on here?. I love these movies one of my fav horror collection.
Return of the living dead 3 is abouts to start at 10:55pm on The Horror Channel and if you miss it its on again tomorrow (Friday) :D

Yeah i know there 5 i just like to call them Trilogy cause i love the sound of that for a film set :D , OK ill say Return of the living dead collection :p .

I agree with you the first 2 were the best but there all pretty good

I suppose in a way they all have their moments but the first two deal out some serious ownage to other movies in the same genre.

Off topic here:

You seen the movie 'Living Dead At Manchester Morgue' your username put me in mind of it?. I have and it is also excellent, the atmosphere in it is amazing.

It is good and it is set for 99% of it in the lake district I think, during the 1970's. The atmosphere is creepy even by todays standarRAB it puts some horror movies of today to shame (both the cut and uncut versions of it). See the link for info on how much it is.

The Living Dead At Manchester Morgue

I loved the original Return of The Living Dead. It had the perfect mix of humour and gore, plus an excellent soundtrack (which I have on CD).

Didn't think much of the sequels though.

It was?

I didn't notice one bit of comedy in ROTLD 3 all I saw was gore fx. It could I suppose be a Rom Zom movie. I mean the first two ROTLD's and even the crappy parts 4 and 5 had bits of humour noticable. Strange that, that I never noticed any comedy in part 3 I have seen it three times now oh well... :D

I haven't seen it but when "Shaun of the Dead" claimed to be the first Rom-Zom-Com a film reviewer mentioned this film as the first. Maybe it's more "black humour" than comedy.

I saw ROTLD 3 ages ago and thought it was very funny. I loved the subtle Wacko Jacko spoof! Wouldn't mind seeing it again.

I believe that was ROTLD 2 not ROTLD 3. The zombie near the end of ROTLD 2 had an outfit on similar to Wacko Jacko's and was dancing like him while he was being electrocuted. ;)

The Original one was fantastic, been ages since i seen that one aswell, i would not mind getting all the Return Of The Living Dead Movies on DVD, wonder if you can get them in a box set? ;)

Cool thing in part 3 was it was a nice little horror love story aswell LOL
