Just to screw an extra few pennies from the fans.

That's why I'm putting off my LOTR purchase until the boxed set goes at a discount price...
 
10 days before Christmas , no chance.

If you don't pre-order online (at a vastly cheaper price than the highstreet) be prepared for dissapointment because even the over charging highstreet copies will go fast as people buy them for christmas. Simply ordering online after the release date won't guarentee you delievery at all and there will be no doubt even then the online retailers will sell out and have to wait for more supplies.

I think with such a high demand product it will sell out very quickly with the release being so close to christmas. Once retailers run out it more than likely won't be until after the 25th that more supplies come in.
 
No, with such a high demand product they always have so many more. They had shitloaRAB of ROTK:SE. ANYWAY, I always buy these ace released the day they come out. As in, I'll be in town on the 14th or whenever.
