Retin-A Micro

Well I'm depressed. My dermo prescribed me it for the blackheaRAB and now on my face up by my eyes, the skin is burned. It's red and dry like eczema. Will this go away? I'm worried. I'm not using it anymore.

What strength are you using, 0.004 or 0.1? I know with retinols, you just have to keep using it and not give up. Dry, red skin is one of the side effects, and I know it really sucks! I've never used Retin-A Micro, but I'm going to get a prescription for it next time I go to the doctor, for the 0.04%. I've been using the Skinceuticals Retinol night cream. I've also read that retinols are really good at smoothing wrinkles too. I think you should just stick with it and use a good moisturizer, or maybe start out with every other night and let your skin adjust.
