Hey I need some serious help on this. Alright in 6th grade our school had a great marching band. We sounded great, we had a lot of people.. It was just great. Then in 7th grade a new band teacher came and after a while people started quiting band because they didn't like the fact they had to do practice logs. (my band teacher doesn't make us do that anymore.) It went from around 20 to 12 or 13 as of now. (that also affects the number of marching band students) NOW, I'm in 8th grade and we have a pep band now. (I'm a floutist that loves challenging music btw) Since we don't have enough players in the band, we can't balance out sound when we play so we just have a pep band in the corner of the stands. I really want the marching band back and I am determined to get it back by freshman year. I know I can't just force people to join but is there anything we can do to help with this?
