im in a funny kind of mood today,

so somehow (you fill in however you think it would come about) you get the oppertunity to bring back one musician/song writer from the grave, who would you pick and why?

ian curtis. id like to see how different the british music scene would be today had he not killed himself at a young age.

I'd much prefered more Joy Division than New Order.
And I think had Curtis lived and Joy Division had got big in America, then the influence of Joy Division, with Curtis as a frontman, could have had a profound effect on the British music scene.
It's hard to tell, but they had enough originality to become the British Velvet Underground...who knows?

New Order`s Movement album was practically going to be the 3rd Joy Division album anyway.
Nick Drake probably wouldn`t have made any more albums even if he was still alive. After Pink Moon he was sick of it & said that he`d said everything he wanted to say with those 3 albums.

I wouldn`t like to have seen what Syd Barrett would have done , he didn`t die but he may as well have done.

I was just going to say him, but you bet me to it. :D

Yeah, Cliff was my favourite Tallica meraber. Metallica's first 3 albums are amazing.

My second choice would be Dimebag.
