So, before the Search Gestappo comes in and tells me to do what I've already done, the above link is the only thread I've found that explains what I need, it also shows that this issue is still unresolved for at least one person.
I bought two refurbed v265's for my kiRAB. The v265 I have just recently flipped to Cricket came from another carrier and had all of it's functionality. The two refurb units have had the link to the browser removed or hidden. Their phones still report OpenWave as being installed.
How would I go about restoring the link to Openwave on these phones?
It appears that Cricket purposely removes the browser from low-end phones. My wife and I have also picked up a pair of 8910's which also have their browser access removed (it's gone from all menus), even though Audiovox says that one ships from the factory.
