Restoring a 1955 Dodge Pickup, what lumber should we use for the bed?

We are hobbyists restoring a 1955 Dodge Pickup and want to replace the wooden bed. We know Cedar and Cypress are the best known not to rot -- but are they good choices for a Truck bed? We want something durable but that looks good. We also want something natural. Any thoughts?
