So I've been wondering this for a while now. Why is it that sometimes when I pay with my credit card the tip is not added to the amount on my bank statement. Today I had a meal at 57.00 when the waitress brought me the bill I gave her my card. she then charged it, brought it back, I signed it and added a 10.00 tip making the total 67.00. I just checked my account and only 57.00 was deducted. why is that? This always happens. Some restaurants do charge it but like tonight, it wasn't charged. what am I doing wrong? I want to make sure the waitress gets her tip.Thank you
