Don't sweat it. They might be going over new policies and procedures for the restaurant. Just go casual! I worked in the restaurant industry for 5 yrs as a hostess and server and there were times some employees would come in their pj's if it was an early morning meeting. Since you're on a trial basis with the company, wearing a t-shirt and jeans should be fine...just don't look/appear too sloppy.
