umm.... CAN'T... i need to keep this job because 1.) the hours fit into my school schedule, 2.) i need to build up my employee history in a restaurant so that one day i can wait tables while i finish my degree, and 3.) the money's good. so if you can find me another job with those things in common that's here in my city, LET ME KNOW, and i'll be more than happy to get another job. believe me, i've looked. :rolleyes: :mfinger:
 
oh, guess what ya'll... now the other night something even worse happened!! i couldn't get a ride to work b/c my car was broken down and my parents suddenly had to go out of town on an emergency. i called everybody i knew and asked them for a ride, but most everybody was at work, too. and so i called my manager and explained the situation and he said everything was fine. then i get into work the next day when my parents come home and he gives me a termination warning!! he told me that if anything like that ever happened again, he would fire me!! (hence the name "termination warning" he he) but anyways, like i said before, had i been one of the other choice few hostesses, they would have been given time off with pay and a personal house visit to make sure they were doing okay or something stupid like that. but nooooo... i just get almost fired!!!
 
sounds like your managers are dumbfucks. What u should do is write into hedquarters and tell them everything you know about everything that goes on. I bet they'll blow the whistle real quick.
 
I agree with the managers get over it u dork. And you should suck up more the only way u can make it through life is kissing ass and it works trust me. U fucxk him then he will like you :mfinger:
 
same here, I get stressed out all day to work as the baker at a restuarant more than customer service and I do all this extra shit for them without getting paid the high baker's salary, and I'm not the only one getting ripped off there
that's why we all agreed to do the minimum work to get by as a way of a strike, they want us to bake and work more, they better give us a raise first

this is the life of a restaurant worker, i work my ass for 7 hours a day, get payed 50 cents over minimum wage, and get bitched at for doing a job i didnt even do, as in someone else was supposed to do it
we never get credit for good things done, but we get bitched at for weeks if we fuck something up.....BASTARDS@! :mfinger: :gun: :bomb: :sword:
 
I hate when they're shitty to u when ur on duty and then totally fake when u come in with family for supper or something. grrrrr. They can all die. Why do I keep picking up shifts if I hate my work? oh yeah, i'm a stupid dumb shit who needs the money. hehe
 
exactly...all I remind myself is that it's all for the money
but I kinda got sick now, and left an hour or two early for the last two days, it's gonna kill my check
also I hate taxes, they take out over a hundred in my checks
I've had over 1500 dollars out in taxes since the new year
 
I know. And at the end of the year I hardly get anything back. :cryme: It really pisses me off. But I've only got a year before I go to college and then I'm never working there again! :cheerldr: Yay!
