Restaurant Incident, what should i have done?

I went to a restaurant today and there was this little boy who threw peanuts at everyone that walked by his table, the mom was aware but never said anything. I was hit twice and so were a few other members of my family. I also watched him throw peanuts at the table next to him the entire time they sat there, no one seemed to do anything. Now if you were in my position what would you have done?
 
You should have told the manager of the restaurant about the child and his parent(s) that would not do anything about this. If that did not work you should have told the manager that your family and you are leaving. Remember: Vote with your dollar!
 
Well i would have asked the mom to tell her son to stop.If that didn't work then i would ask her again,and if that didn't work i would complain to the manger,then i would say they had bad service and leave,lol
