Restaurant city question!!!?

Okay, I'm addicted to restaurant City. (The Facebook application) And I'm level 14 already. It says you have to be level 15 to serve drinks. I'm trying to level up faster by leaving it open in a new tab/ window. My question is, can you gain gourmet points by gifting things to your friends?

Hmm. If im not mistaken gourmet points are the points you earn to level up. And i think that under tge trophy section they have tasks you may perform to earn a trophy. And i think when you earn trophies you get gourmet points. So im pretty sure there id a trophy for sending gifts. So my anser is yes. Sorry if im incorrect. I havent played in a while.
