Resident Evil.........Nemesis

I dont know if its been posted on here before but what did peole think of resident evil???.....i think it was pretty alright and the best bit was the laser corridor (in cube as well)..

read the other day about nemesis which looks equally to be good.
 
I truely enjoyed this film too,and my best part was also the laser !! ,but for nemesis i watched it sometime ago and it was rubbish ,i think its the worst one they made,but maybe u might like it when u see it !!!
 
They've dropped the word 'Nemesis' from the Resident Evil sequel due to the fact that they don't want to be confused with 'Star Trek Nemesis'. So from now on its just plain ol 'Resident Evil 2' until they change their minRAB.

Also Milia is officially back as Alice. Filming is due to start in the summer for a proposed 1st quarter 2004 release.
 
I thought the film was poor and could have been much better. The zombie scenes compared with that of some of the horror flicks of the 80's

It's just a rumor, but I heard that there may be a Jill Valentine in the sequel. Anyone know anything about that? But hey, I agree about the zombie thing. But they really tried, you know? Also, it was clever of them. Did you know that they hired a ton of dancers to play the zombies, because they were so flexible and were able to dislocate their body parts?

Such as the first guy, holding the axe (A weapon? Resident Evil? Zombie? Pfft...). He dislocated his shoulder and his foot.

And that's another thing. Weapons + RE Zombies= Big no-no

Still, I enjoyed the movie. Let me know if any of the actual game characters are in the second movie.
 
Im sorry it has to be one of the worst films ive ever seen. apart from a few zombies and a couple of hte beast its had nothing to do with resident evil!!!
Maybe it would have been alot better to at least have the characters being those that were in the games!!
i think a film OF the first game would have been great seeing what some of hte charcters like wester and Barry did when they werent around Gill or Chris!!
If hte next film is gonna be as bad as the first then maybe they shouldnt bother wasting thier money!!
 
They originally had a script by George Romero, I believe. It was based on the first videogame, but they dropped it. The director of the Resident Evil movie also is the director of the Mortal Kombat movies (might I mention that they have a new one scheduled!)
 
I wasn't even aware they had made a sequel to Resident Evil.

i liked resident evil .....

loved the bit were theyre all in the lazer corridor.... wont say 2 much in case sum havent seen it.......... and i agree with the person that sed about the zombies having weapons :confused: they didnt have weapons in the games :confused:

but overall i think it was a good film and the effects etc were kool.... but just a shame there are none of the characters in from the games...... wouldda been a little better :)

I thought the laser corridor was the worst bit of the whole film, which wasn't much use itself. The characters were so unsubtle and extremely cliched that you could almost tell what they would do and say. Michelle Rodrigez' character was especially lame and cliched. If they were going to make it based on the game they should have copied it not used its ideas, or just ignored the game and just taken the zombie concept and showed a different perspective (kind of imagine 28 Days Later could be an inspiration), instead of somewhere in between. Either way it was a fairly average film which wasn't particularly scary and wasn't very memorable. Because of that I'm not really bothered much about a sequel.
