Resident Evil: Afterlife.

Never seen any of the films.

Heard that they aren't anything special so I'm suprised they've got this far. Must be doing something right.

It actually looks interesting by the trailer.

That is what they are doing right. :)

In all honesty they are a good film if you want to just sit with a tub of popcorn and a huge cup of fanta and while away an afternoon.

The movies are really good the second one (apocalypse) is by far the best then the third (extinction). I never really thought much of the first one its enough to put anyone off the series.

Cant wait for afterlife :D

You should give them a go
:D :D

1) Underwhelming, to say the least
2) Awful
3) Slightly better, but still no more than average

Honestly, you haven't missed much by not seeing any of them yet, but as harmless popcorn flicks go, you could do worse....

First one had its moments, second one was quite solid and had it's horrific moments (reporter being set upon by zombie kiRAB in the school ) and the third was $hite.

Hoping the fourth is better.

I prefer the first. It's weirdly bloodless, but very intense, especially the first half. The second one just doesn't work for me. It's formulaic fast-zombies. The last one is better than the second but not as good as the first; it feels like a linking piece, but is OK as mindless fun. I've not see the animated one and don't intend to.

I bought the 3rd one on DVD for

Just been to see this, and I LOVED IT!

I've always been of a fan of the movies and games, so I'm probably slightly biased (especially as I saw some of this yet filmed last year in Toronto... ;)) - but I genuinely thought it was really good. Probably the best out of the 4 movies.

Nice mix of action, jumpy bits, and very good 3D effects. I've seen about seven or eight 3D films now, and I'd say that it was on par with Avatar in terms of effects and quality. One of the best 3D films I've seen (despite some of the effect being lost due to projection problems in my local cinema ( but I'll stick that in another thread...)

I was a tad worried at the start that there wasn't going to be enough zombies - but that was well catered for by the end! LoaRAB of action in this one, and probably more than the other films put together.

Overall, I'd give it a 8-10. Well worth a watch... :)

Never made it past the dismal first offering. I've heard tidbits about how they've raped the more popular aspects of the games and went for frankly bizarre casting choices, it all just sounRAB a sorry mess really.

just got back from seeing this and iv'e just got 1 word for it = AMAZING!

the first of the films to stay close to the games yet have its own storyline , the teaser at the end just :D:D

is

jill the leader of umbrella now?

Cant wait to see it,part 3 just left u wanting more,it was my fav part, didnt care much for apocalypse but the first movie was very good, real shame colin salmon got killed so early,he was badass.

I don't mind the first two, they're dumb fun.

The third one lost me (I still don't get how a virus caused all the rivers to dry up ) but the fourth one looks OK...the 3D may get me to the cinema to see it, the first 3 I saw on DVD.

Hoping to see it this week. Really liked the first one. Enjoyed the second one and thought the third was a steaming great pile of shit.
