Resident Evil: Afterlife Trailer

The Resi films are actually decent ties for a tie with a Game, Resident Evil 1 the movie was brilliantly done. plus they dont need to do a EXACT Copy of the game as people would get bored, they kept the chracters apart from adding Alice into and Kept the Mansion etc.

Afterlife looks wicked and i cant wait to watch it.
 
Loved the first one, hated the 2nd one, the third was a decent shift.

We all know there pretty much unlike the games but in my eyes these films arent canon to the resi universe anyhow.

George A Romero directing would have been good for the gamer fans but most likely been franchise suicide for the box office.
 
It's good to finally view a trailer of this movie - It's been awhile! I felt the ending to the last movie set's the premise for this 4th one very well. I can't wait to watch it. But i didn't see Leon in the trailer, i thought he was meant to be in this one?
 
The franchise has hardly been box office gold as it is though. The highest grossing film was the 3rd one with total takings of $145 million worldwide. Not amazing. The other two barely scraped $100 million.
 
If there's any film franchise that neeRAB a reboot it's this. The first was entertaining enough but overall it's just dirge. Everything was there in the games for them to turn the films into something fantastic but once I saw the director I knew it would be a stupid throwaway trashy film.
 
Not Leon, but Chris Redfield. I didn't see him in the trailer but he's definitely in it, portrayed by Wentworth Miller.

I love the look of this trailer - the cinematography looks a big step up from the first three. Looks like it'll be good fun.

And Milla's right... I'm a huge fan of Resident Evil and she's done a great job with it. I don't want to see people running around collecting pots of herbs and finding keys. It's just Resident Evil enough, for me. I don't need to see anything serious, I just want to see women (and a few men) running around killing zombies.
 
My fav thing about the 2nd movie. And..

her entrance into that movie, mini shoot out / massacre at the police station was awesome :cool:
And iiuc when they were just standing around Sienna would do the Valentine 'wiggle' thing that the game character does when you put her on pause - or something like that.
 
UGH. NO.

I thought Sienna Guillory was AWFUL. I spent the whole film wanting to show her how to hold a gun; not believable at all, and she had none of the attitude that was so likable from Jill in the games.
 
No one said it neeRAB to be like that and even Milla never said that. And quite frankly I am tired of these people that like the movies that just say the same thing over and over. What I've highlighted above. That's all they can come up with because IF they could have come up with something better they would have done first time round. Those who hate on the movies are far more detailed in their dislike than those who support the movies. All the movie supporters hit us with is "I don't want to see people running around collecting pots of herbs and finding keys." and trust me you are not the first person to have said this. So I am not only saying it to you but everyone that thinks like this.
