Rescue Dawn

I watched it a week or so ago, I'd recommend it to anyone who gets a chance to go. It's brilliant and Bale is excellent as ever.
 
TBH I was dissapointed

Very straightforward "pilot down - imprisoned - escapes - rescued" movie. Nothing new that hasn't been done before.

A good performance by Christian Bale though
 
I agree. It's good, but nothing you haven't seen before (yes and done better).

One thing that stuck out was how good looking Christian Bale looked! And I mean while his co-stars appeared starved, malnourished, skinny and close to death... he looked, good!
 
its good but was very gung ho. from any other american director like michael bay this would have been ok, but from werner herzog i found it a bit of a let down
