Isn't it sad that in the aftermath of the Black Friday preview extravaganza that I can sit back afterwards and think "Well, if I missed something, its not a big deal, it will e repeated 4,892,113 times over the next week!" ?
I don't really think it's sad. Back when I was little, I would always get so nervous if I came close to missing a new episode or a special movie/event and when I did miss them, depending on what show it was or what the movie/event was about, I would feel so depressed. I like the fact that there's more chances nowadays to find repeats of episodes and movies during the week since I'm not bound to just that one specific time slot to watch them. Even with all of my work from college, I don't have to worry about missing something nearly as much as I did back in elementary and middle school since I know I can look up the repeat slots later on during the week. I'm sure it helps other people who missed the initial premier or who simply want to see the episodes/movie/event again.
I like the idea of having multiple chances to watch in case I have to go somewhere when the original premiere is that way I don't have to worry about missing it.
Reruns of recent premieres aren't really a bad thing. Sometimes networks overplay them but is it really that big of a deal if you're not watching TV all the time? I don't think so.
