Request for suggestions for new phone

Hello All:

Brand new to the forum and need help. I have been with Verizon Wireless for about 4 years. The phone I now use is a Motorola V325. My latest 2 year contract has expired and it's time to get a new phone. Really need some help.

I am a very basic type phone user (as you can tell by the model I have!).

I have done some basic research and think the following is what I need:

1. First and foremost, a phone with the capability of receiving weak signals with good volume.
2. Blue Tooth capable.
3. small size, able to carry in pant's pocket.
4. Camera (basic)
5. GPS capable

I do not do texting, music, video, email, etc.

I would appreciate any suggestions for a new phone based on the above info.

Thanks much in advance

Thanks for your response. The LG-8350 was one I was looking at. The other is the LG-VX-8550.

Thanks again for your response.

Thanks 185843....I'll look into the Sony but think that I do need blue tooth as I see a point in the not too far future where the state where I live will not allow hand held cell phones.

Hi Eric, thanks for the response.

I eyeballed the W755 (on some forums) and it appears to have more than I would use plus a couple problems.

I understand the micro SD card is underneath the battery and difficult to get to. Have heard of problems finding drivers for the usb cable (Don't even know what that means, I'm a "old" guy, but don't think I would need it). Additionally, they play up the external "sensitive touch" music controls. I don't need them, I want a phone to be a phone essentially. Music, Video, Vcast(?), texting, etc, I don't want any of them. Camera (basic) is nice touch to use to photograph damage in car accident. GPS I see a future need for, as well as Blue Tooth but most of the other would be above my head I'm afraid.

Say away from the chocolates....say very very far away. at least the 8550 model.

The chocoate 3 8560 isn't to bad.

mot w755 sucks, its a moto phone. They haven't been doing good lately. Stay with LG or Samsung

In your post at 1:50PM 08-27-2008, did you not say you would suggest an LG 8350?

It now appears that your 10:57PM post today says "to stay very very far away" from the 8350.

Which one am I to go by?
