the election in the bag for him? Remember right after McCain chose Palin? This section was flooded with Republicans going on about how this was the best move McCain could ever have made, and the election was definitely theirs now, and cower in fear of Palin you dirty liberals?

Well, we see how well that turned out. Aren't you ashamed of yourselves?

Funny how the sheep continue to run in circles and bleat the same partisan rhetoric while the greedy and corrupt criminals of both parties continue to destroy our economy and future isn't it? This is exactly the kind of diversion that is designed to keep the intellectually lazy from figuring out the truth.

You guys will not stop even when your candidate wins! I am not ashamed of not voting for Obama or believing in GOD or being an American!!! I am ashamed of the people that have tried and are still trying to split our country!

Ooohhh lets see here, ya mean do I feel foolish that even though McCain picked a fantastic running mate that the efforts of almost 100% of the media and the re-nigging of campaign finance promise giving Obummer a 8 to 14 dollar per vote lead were too much for an honest man to overcome.....NO.

Choosing Palin definitely sealed the deal on the election...

...just didn't turn out the way they expected.

You betcha!...What a great choice to help Obama win the presidency. I'm sure going to miss her (Palin) she is a hottie.

I have yet to see them acknowledge reality. We can always hope. Excellent question.

I said it when he chose her, after I looked into what she represented, that after the love fest was over that she would turn out to be a huge liability.

My prediction turned out to be 100% accurate

Which makes me wonder, since a dumbphuk like myself can see it, why didn't the repugs see that.

Maybe it goes deeper then that, that they knew the economy was going to take a major league hit so what better way to reduce dem power then to put them in control and blame all of it on them.

It is happening right now.
Despite the evidence to the contrary.
They are both to blame.
However
The repugs were the ones who pushed deregulation and Bush was at the helm even though he was warned what would happen. (Yahoo news a month ago)

Peace

Well, your question assumes all Republicans thought it was a great idea.

That certainly wasn't true.

We don't need to categorize everybody as the enemy just because some hate posters dehumanize us as liberals.

Actually, Mikey, it was the best move he could have made. What we underestimated was the number of ignorant voters, with no grasp of the issues, that would turn out on election day. We won't make the same mistake again. We lost the election because of complacency and laziness.

I never thought that McCain had the election in the bag and I think that choosing Palin was a good move not to win the election but what it did was bring Palin out in the open. Americans are facinated with her and can now get to know her. I think she is a smart woman and now she can get out there and convince the American people that she is qualified to be president. And by the way I don't care about the drug habits of the mother of the man that is going to marry Palin's daughter. I didn't care about the drinking habits of Bill Clinton's brother either. I also didn't care about Clinton's womanizing in the oval office either.
