repost: Why would a bisexual date someone of the same sex?

Well your not very open-minded are you. Welcome to the 21st century. Gay and lesbian couples adopt kids alot these days, just like there are also straight men and women that are not able to have kids so they adopt. It might take a while for your family to get used to it, but they are your family so they should love you reguardless. If they were truly your friends they should love you for who you are not who you're attracted to. Scientific studies have been done that prove being gay or lesbian is not always the person's choice, it's just the way they are born, so who ever gave you that answer before was correct, you can't choose who you are attracted to.
 
I asked this before the only answer I got was "because you cant chose who you are attracted to" That isn't what I was driving at.
IT is more difficult and stigmatised to date the same sex. you cant have kids and it upsets your family and horrifies your friends.

If I were bi I would date women and forget the bi thing.
