report on lifter problem

So you reference where you are from......and yet you leave your "location" blank???? Not even a State???? You are not alone here, many here don't. I just don't understand why people don't at least list the state where they are from. If you post any at all, you eventually mention something about the area you are from, so why not at least list the state so it appears in the upper right corner of your posts???? Unless of course you are ashamed of where you live, or maybe your afraid you will post something here and somebody will come looking for you......like I said, I just don't understand why??????

I hear they are a lot quieter than stock and a lot of aftermarket lifters.
 
What the hell has this got to do with lifters? I'm from Nunya. Nunya business! I could tell you where I'm from but some one looking for "Northside" will just get to that part of town. Actually I have mentioned many times where I'm from in this forum. It's one of best places to ride in the U.S.A. for scenery, breathtaking roads and few anti motorcycle laws. I'm neither ashamed nor scared of some one looking for me. If you knew me you'd know how ridiclous that is. I'd just rather maintain a little annonimity, if that's all right with you.
 
Yeah it's fine with me. I guess I could do a search since you mentioned you have mentioned your area in your posts "many times". But the truth is, I really don't care. It was a "spur of the moment deal" to begin with. I was just wondering what area you were from since you mentioned you have some good mechanics and racers in your area. Trivial really, but was just wondering. And I still don't understand why folks don't list at least the state they are from. I guess if you are some famous person who gets harassed by crazy fans all the time, then I can understand your desire to remain as anonymous as possible. Or on the "10 Most Wanted" list or something like that! I just find it puzzling when people mention, "my area", "where I'm from", "around here", etc, and the reader of the post has no idea where that might be. I guess I will just have to conclude that that is some people's preference and let it go at that. I sure don't want to make any enemies over the deal. Life's too short for that nonsense.
