Reply car audio need help Exp. only please?

Okay I don't know allot about car audio but I have 2 Orion Cobalt sub woofers in a Plexiglas box the frequency response is 30-2.5k hz
200 watt RMS 500 peak power sensitivity 86.86 db and my Amp is a Orion cobalt series 600 watt 2 channel w/x-over model number co6002
I have the amp turned to the max and It just isn't hitting like I would like
it is better now that is is turned up but still to me it sounds funny I need to know what I can do to make it sound better any suggestions
will be appreciated
 
im guessing since you said plexiglass you have bandpass box, if you do theres you problem go sealed or ported. bandpass is for show, if thats not it then your gonna need to upgrade to a more pwoerful system.
