Replacing standard tape deck in Rover 25. HELP!?

Well I've managed to get the standard tape deck out of the car but now I've hit problems. I have the Sony GT50UI waiting to go in but the cage doesn't fit the gap in the dash, its a few mm too wide. Also do I need an adapter or something for the wiring as the attachment coming from the dash and the one on the Sony CD player dont match. Cheers. Tom
 
go to your nearest car audio store (for me its roadquake) and ask them for a dash mount for your car (you will need to tell them your make and model) that should fill the gaps nicely i had the same problem with my olds cutlass and then i learned about these dash mounts and they work nicely
