Replacing Brakes on 89 Jeep wrangler?

If I were you, I would call around to get several estimates. The cost will vary a lot from shop to shop. Choose one that is licensed and bonded and of course insured to do this kind of work. I would guess that you should plan on around$450.00. High yes but this repair is tedious and very important for your safety. Here in Michigan it costs around $85.00 times 4 wheels, then the lines etc.

The last time I did brakes on my '88 it cost about $300 for pads, rotors, calipers, drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, rubber lines and hard lines. Basically everything from the proportioning block down was replaced. I did the labor myself however and it took me around four hours. Shops charge anywhere from $50 per hour and up so if you replace everything plan on spending at least $450.

you should only have discs in the front, the rear should be drums which arent replaced as much as regular disc brakes. but, you can take your jeep to any auto shop like aamco or even goodyear, any place that does tune ups and such. they can replace your brakes for you, the brakes will cost around $50, depending on the brand. installation will run about the same. rotors are a different story they are a little more expensive. it will cost you around $120 for a good set of rotors and if installed with the brakes all together the installation will cost you around $100. so cost of brakes, rotors, and install will be around $200-270.
