Replacement Blackberries!

Well, after my keyboard broke, i called blackberry and once again they are sending me a new pearl, which i am very happy about. Now one thing i really need to know, is they said that they will charge me 25$ on my visa for this replacement, and they didnt mention anything about sending my old one back. Now before sending it back i asked all my friends who have had their pearl replaced many times, and they all said that the broken one really doesnt matter anymore, they tell you to send it back but it isnt really a big deal at all and they dont really care. Im guessing this is true becuase alot of my friends have broken rogers pearls. But ya, my dads gonna give me 25 bucks im gonna try to fix the keypad and hes gonna take it, my question was do you think they will care about this since it is already marked down as disfunctional or what? thanks stackers!
 
Well I dont know about Rogers but Tmobile if you dont send the replacement back they charge you full retail price for the phone. They also send instructions with the replacement Pearl on sending back the old one. So when you get the replacement you might get instructions on what to do.
 
Just wait for the letter. I got a letter after delaying the return of my curve. I was about to be charged in excess of $400 for the unreturned handset. I returned it hours later via UPS.

But how do I get Rogers to send me a Curve 8310? I got the discontinued Curve 8300.
 
And remember, they will have your credit card number. I don't know if they can charge you without contacting you first, but I certainly wouldnt want a $400 surprise on my visa.
