2004 Yamaha R6.
It's worn and another one is on it's way. Stock OEM replacement. I have the manual but it doesn't really say much about replacing so I'd thought I'd ask here.
It's held on by two screws... all you need to do to get to it is remove the plastics on that side of the bike (right side) and then it's there.
But it's from there on to where I'm not sure what to do. I heard to keep it in neutral and then do it. But when I take it out and replace it, how do you keep it from jumping a tooth on the timing or anything like that? Or any info on how to do this? Does it have to be on the compression stroke or any info you can give? Thanks
