I have a friend who has a business with BEV. Is he allowed to share that account with his house? I'm not sure of what he is allowed to do. Also if he rents a PVR from bell to do this how would that work?

Is there anyway to rent a PVR so that you can install it yourself? If you buy the PVR you can have it installed yourself right?

Probably hundreds of posts on "account sharing" - just search "cottage" or "cabin" instead of "business". Quick and dirty answer is "no" according to BEV, "maybe" according to various persons with expertise in telecommunication regulation, "go for it" according to thousands of persons who do it.

He'd, ah, unplug the rental PVR from one location, move it to the second location and plug it in there.

No

Yes

Bonus comment: there is nothing, other than fear of BEV wrath, preventing him from renting PVR, which would then be installed by BEV at "primary" location, then installing his own dishes at 10 other locations and bringing the PVR over to each of them. In other words, regarding the question of whether to rent or own, the fact BEV requires official installation of the former but not the latter seems to me irrelevant in your friend's circumstance.

As a business he is not allowed a "Cottage" type account.

As a business he is NOT allowed to run a PVR.....

As a business I do not believe he can Rent ANY receivers..

As a Business he cannot subscribe to Movie Channels.
