I have a 3-plex and in one of the apartments lived a couple. the boyfriend left and therefore the woman asked me for a $110 discount otherwise she can not afford the place.
The current rent is reasonable for the area therefore I do not believe I should reduce her rent by $110.
on the other hand, should I agree to a $60 reduction if she signs for another year or two?
OR
Should I agree to $100 discount if she lives in 3 months? (this will ensure she will leave apt clean etc. and on time)
OR
should I just not agree and ask her to give me 2 months notice if she chooses to leave due to the rent amount?
