Rent - The Movie - UK DVD release date?

I know that 'Rent' is released in the cinemas from tomorrow (April 7), but I cant seem to find it's UK DVD release date on the Internet. Seen as I buy my DVD's from Play.com, I thought I'd look there, but I can't see to find any release date information.

The Dvd date wont be set yet will it?
Since the release dates are reflective on it's success at the box office I believe.

Rent has had a very limited release, so I wouldn't expect anything big at the box office. Being a fan, and wanting to see this movie since I heard it was finally in production, I travelled to Teeside, which was closest to me that was showing it. It was great. Shame about the limited release.

I can't wait for the DVD. Hopefully it will be the two-disk special edition with all of the extras, like the one released in the US.

It is normally about 5 or 6 months between a cinema release of a film and a DVD release of a film so if that is the case you should expect to see Rent being released on DVD in the UK around August or September time!
If you cant wait that long then you could always buy a cheap multi region DVD player and order the region 1 DVD which is out now!
