Renewing Tmobile contract / upgrading plan

Hello when upgrading a TMobile plan. For example from a Family 2000 to a Family 3000 plan. I renewed for 1 year. Is there still a 14 day grace period on this renewal? Similar to a new plan. I even added more lines to another account. My question is is that I was not under any contract and upgraded my plan. Some of the features I wanted do not work as I had planned and how several TMobile service reps described. I want to take my numbers and more to another company. I have 12 lines and even so I am willing to pay the 200.00 per line to disconnect I am that upset with them. I just wanted to know is any TMobile guys out there ran into this situation of the grace period to change ones mind.

Thanks for your time.

when i worked at tmobile (not too long ago) that was the policy.
14 day return policy did include the contracts for upgrades.

.... can a current employee validate this? i dont think anything has changed.

I can. Your new lines do have a buyers remorse period. But on your older lines if the plan was changed than they are under contract and there is no buyers remorse for price plan changes when the actual line is outside of its initial 14 day buyers remorse period. So there is your answer but what happened to make you so upset? I would like to help if I can

Hi....I work for a tmobile authorized dealer and we do have the 14 day buyer remorse period and they will backdate your contract to whatever it was, but you would have to return any phones on that upgrade you have. All the new lines come with the 14 day period as well. Im not sure if corporate does that but I do know that authorized dealers do.

Buyers remorse ony applies with handset upgrades and new activations. Priceplan changes do not apply. The second you agree to the terms of the contract change the contract is binding. Technically if the rep read the contract to you and you said " YES, Wait NO", they could hold you to that contract. Good thing Tmo is not totally corrupt huh.

I think I have to agree with the other dealers that have posted. What exactly is not working the way you wanted/expected/were told it would?

Zo (Also a T-Mobile dealer).

I returned one of my tmobile phones with buyers remorse within the 14 day period and had no issues getting a pearl instead. Just brought it into a dealer and traded it out and paid the difference with no new contract.
