RENAULT & FORD TO MERGE?

Renault & Ford are working together to build a small car.

They are using the Renault Clio & the Ford Taurus as a basis for a new
zippy little car which is called the "Clitaurus".

The car comes with a pink interior and fur on the bumpers.

Models assembled in Brazil will not offer the fur option.

It's recommended as a woman's car as many men may not be able to find it,
especially in the dark.

Sounds like another winner from ford. Maybe they have taken some Inspiration from the ford capri, as back in the 70's every c**t had one of those.
I suspect renault got ford on board to help design a new model after the very unsuccessful renault mcann...a car with so spacious you wouldn't even know your kids were in the back !!

But then ford recently had to drop one of the ka models from the range as they thought the ford Ka-si was not to appealing.

Personally i am awaiting the new engine due for release later this this year, called the dubbed the 'fanny' engine, it is self lubricating, can be fitted with any size piston, starts with one finger and does its own oil change once every four weeks. the release has been delayed as the engine management system is proving to be a bit temperamental.

I heard about this one and am waiting to see if they are going to make a hatch back for easy entry from the rear.They're having development problems coz the gear stick vibrates and when you go too fast it drips oil.It also stops every time it goes past a shop.
