I just got a kawasaki klx 300 for my first dirt bike. I want to start learning about working on bikes so I decided to get my first "mod", a simple, easy to install - after market shift lever! Ive now spent 3 hours trying to remove the old one. Its on there with one bolt. I got the bolt out half way but then it started stripping and will not go any further. Ive oiled, and pryed, and wiggled, and banged on the thing and it still wont come off.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions? I am so frusterated, I tryed to pick the simplest thing to do to my bike and it ends up like this. Bolt is stripped and not going anywhere.
