Removing headlight cover from 'T' reg Toyota Yaris?

How do i remove the plastic cover from the headlights of my Yaris as there is a yellow tinge on them which was picked up on last years MOT.There are 3 clips on the top which are visible when the bonnet is opened but i still cannot release the cover.
Are the headlights a sealed unit?
 
They are most likely sealed to the reflector body by some type of rubber or mastic sealant. This can sometimes be softened with a hair dryer enough to remove them, you have to remove the whole light from the car to do this, and when refitting you need to use some mastic ro completely reseal them.

The yellowing will be in the clear plastic and will not clean off, it is caused by Ultra Violet light and can be worse if high power bulbs have been used. So if you cannot get the clear part seperately, which is unlikely there is no point taking the old ones off.
