Before you criticize me for hurting the environment, I would like to say that I live in Wyoming and out here the converter is more of a grass fire risk during off road use than an environmental hazard, furthermore the jeep is beefed up for off road use and is not for highway use.
For details I removed the converter for the purpose disclosed to appease the ranchers that allow us to off road on there ranches but ask that we remove them to help prevent grass fire.So I did that, and now my Jeep backfires, it is not a bang but simply a hesitation kinda like a misfire or something.
Can someone explain the hesitation and a cure for this, otherwise I am going to have to reinstall it to make it run correctly and risk grass fires.
