Remove "favorite" contacts that aren't favs?

Hey all,...

I've been searching all over the place and I can't for the life of me figure this out..

My "favorite" contacts list consists of many numbers that simply contact me a lot. For example, I use YouMail for Voicemail and that # is in there because they send me txt's when I get a voicemail.

Is there a way to remove these fake favorites and only show the actual starred contacts?

Edit: I know I can choose to only show starred contacts in the *main* contacts list, but that defeats the purpose of having that as well as a "favorites" list.
 
Nope - I had hoped that RC33 would have fixed it, I've brought it up in the past along with a few others, and well it's annoying. Especially when you have some friends - that are girls - and your girlfriend sees them under favorites as well...
 
haha.. well im not worried about that. my girl doesnt look at my phone unless i specifically show her something, and she knows who my friends are anyway. mostly its just annoying to scroll through all my contacts for the few people i constantly dial.

ah well.. ill just keep the main list set to favs for now
 
I was wondering the same think, I found if you unselect all sync groups, exit call log and then go back and turn them back on it takes the non starred favorites off. (may need to clear call log first I'm not sure)
